Nyhus Family Sales is excited to announce our annual scholarship program aimed at supporting local students pursuing a trade school education. As a family-owned used car dealership in Perham, MN, we understand the importance of education and are committed to giving back to our community.
Scholarship Details:

- Eligibility: Open to individuals planning to enroll in a trade school in 2026-2027
- Application Deadline: April 15, 2026
How to Apply:
- Write an essay (the less words the better) explaining why you have chosen a trade school and how it aligns with your career goals.
- Submit your essay, along with your contact information, school you plan to attend, and intended course of study, to nick@nyhusfamilysales.com
Selection Criteria: A panel of judges from Nyhus Family Sales will review the applications based on the following criteria:
- Creativity and Clarity: How well does the essay communicate your passion for your chosen trade and future career?
- Relevance: Does the essay clearly explain why you have chosen a trade school and how it fits into your overall career aspirations?
Winner Announcement: The scholarship recipient will be announced on May 15, 2026, and the award will be presented at our dealership in Perham. We look forward to celebrating the recipient's achievements and supporting their journey toward a successful career in the trades.
